Meet Sameer Thakur and Tushar Sathaye. The duo came out with a feature film Khel Shuru that won many recognitions in 2006 including being the official selection at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival and Thunderbird International Film Festival. A year later, the film has now become the “only NRI film to be rented on video-on-demand platform” of Google Video. In this episode, Sameer and Tushar share with us how the “game began”, how challenging was the making of this film and how their films tend to be different than the typical Bollywood movies. Khel Shuru is a story of seven youngsters
traveling to a summer house in Ohio, three French girls on a school project and two contract killers, all meeting in a jungle for a day of unforgettable experience. And for the music lover in you, the film also features some nice background score and melodious songs. Enjoy this film and our US listeners, enjoy the upcoming Memorial Day holidays. We’ll be back on May 31.
Happy Listening!
